Woman stabbed in Layton home | Crime
LAYTON, Utah - A Layton woman is recovering after being stabbed at her home Saturday night.
Police say the woman was sleeping at a mobile home park at Quail Ridge Drive when a man entered the home. The suspect asked the woman about someone who lives at the home. The victim said the suspect then punched her and stabbed her in the leg.
"The male then struck the female in the face with a fist and then stabbed her in the leg and then left the residence and the area," said Sgt. Rod Dixon, Layton Police Dept.
The victim was taken to Davis Hospital with minor injuries.
The suspect hasn't been arrested and police say they don't have much of a description.
