KAYSVILLE, Utah - The well-known Kaysville philanthropist and owner of Bowman's Superstore died earlier this week.

Richard Calvert Bowman died on Monday, May 28, at the age of 84. He was born in 1927 and is a graduate of Davis High School.

Throughout his life, Bowman and his family sponsored numerous good causes in Kaysville and Davis County.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 4, at 11 a.m. in the Kaysville Crestwood Stake Center (855 East Mutton Hollow Road).

Friends may visit family Sunday from 5-8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 N. Main, and Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. before services at the stake center.
